Meet our Co-Founders
Davy Francis
Davy is a proud veteran of the marines, getting his early start as diesel mechanic. He served our country for three years oversees in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. After his stint in the military he worked for a time in the oilfields of Colorado, which is where he met James. From there he owned and operated a successful home inspection business which was perfect preparation to founding WYO44 Builders.
Although Davy certainly knows his way around the job site, he mostly runs the business side of the company doing business development and estimates. As James has told him, “You take care of getting customers in the door and I’ll swing the hammer!”
James Wertz
James has been building things since he was old enough to swing a hammer. In his career, he has built hundreds of houses and completed countless projects. After the building market turned south during the “great recession” of 2008, James turned to work in the oil fields where he eventually met Davy and worked along side him for almost 10 years..
James leads the building crews for the company and works closely with Davy on estimate and material ordering. He is the boots-on-the-floor project manager for all builds and guides customers through the entire build process from start to end.
